I found my way to MBA@UNC through a colleague who recently graduated from the program. He was very impressed with the program and I had looked at UNC’s Business School in the past. I held off pursuing my MBA for over ten years. Now that I saw this innovative platform, it was time to commit and figure out a way to make this work with my day-to-day schedule.

A typical day in my work schedule varies. I can start as early as six or seven o’clock in the morning and go until midnight. Finding time to fit in class work is critical in addition to balancing my work life and my family.

I’ve been enthusiastic about this program, because it’s so conducive to allowing flexibility in your schedule on a day-to-day basis.   

With 22 years of business experience coming into the program and having held off on an MBA for the past 10 years, I just assumed that my business knowledge in general would get me through the program. I certainly learned very quickly that I’m back in school and you have to put your time in, however that time can be spent in a way that’s accommodating to your schedule.
